You like post-WWII American crime dramas? Cynical heroes? Stark lighting? With a little existentialism thrown in? Welcome to the 2nd annual Dallas Noir Fest! Presented by Dallas Classic Film Festival (501c3 pending) and produced by Torfoot Studios, this three-day celebration of noir films and filmmaking will be packed with classic examples of the genre, panel discussions, book signings and parties.

All films will be shown at the newly opened Violet Crown Uptown Dallas so you can see them as they were meant to be seen – on the big screen with big sound and a big tub of buttered popcorn. And all proceeds will benefit The Harry Ransom Center’s Film Collection.
